About the Species

This specimen was collected from Mount Hamilton, Santa Clara, California, United States by Twitty on 10 March 1942. It was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility by Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin. Funding for scanning was provided by a National Science Foundation Assembling the Tree of Life grant (IIS-0531767) to Dr. Rowe. Funding for image processing was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Rowe.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 28 September 2007 along the coronal axis for a total of 1528 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.08342 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.08342 mm and a field of reconstruction of 35 mm.
