About the Species

This specimen was collected 11 miles south and 2 miles east of Lone Pine, Cottonwood Campgroud, Inyo County, California by L.A. Lester on 26 June 1967. It was made available to The Univeristy of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility by Dr. Blaire Van Valkenburgh, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of California, Los Angeles. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Van Valkenburgh and by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 7 December 2006 along the coronal axis for a total of 724 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.1686 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.1686 mm and a field of reconstrucion of 79 mm.
