About the Species

This male specimen was collected from Oomsis Creek, Morobe District, Papua New Guinea. It was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility by Dr. Ted Macrini of the American Museum of Natural History, Department of Mammalogy. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Nancy Simmons of the American Museum of Natural History. Funding for image processing was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 9 May 2007 along the coronal axis for a total of 990 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.07442 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.07442 mm and a field of reconstruction of 35 mm.
