This specimen was stained with osmium tetraoxide and critical point dried. It was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Angela Lopez Benitez of Centre de Disseny d'Equips Industrials. Funding for image processing was provided by the High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility.

This specimen was scanned by Jessie Maisano on 22 August 2011 along the horizontal axis for a total of 383 slices. Voxel size is 4.41 microns.
