About the Species

This specimen was collected from Ghost Ranch Quarry, Chinle Formation and is from the late Triassic. It was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. Timothy Rowe of the University of Texas at Austin. Funding for scanning and image processing was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Rowe.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 29 May 2007 along the coronal axis for a total of 1125 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.1216 mm thick, with an interslice spacing 0.1216 mm and a field of reconstruction of 57 mm.
