About the Species

This specimen (SAIAB 58357) was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. John Lundberg of the Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia, PA. Funding for scanning was provided by a National Science Foundation grant (DEB-0089612) to Dr. Lundberg. Funding for image processing was provided by an NSF Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.

About this Specimen

The specimen was scanned by Mathew Colbert on 4 March 2005 along the coronal axis for a total of 690 slices. Each 1024x1024 pixel slice is 0.05802 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.05802 mm and a field of reconstruction of 27 mm.
