About the Species

This specimen was collected in the vicinity of Monteverde, Puntarenas, Costa Rica by R. Sage on 29 April 1971. It was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. John Cossel of Northwest Nazarene University and Dr. David Cannatella of The University of Texas. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Cossel. Funding for image processing was provided by the High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 13 June 2011 along the coronal axis for a total of 1056 slices. Each 1024x1024 pixel slice is 0.07663 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.07633 mm and a field of reconstruction of 36.5 mm.
