About the Species

This specimen was collected from Cano Caripo, Venezuela by B. Chernoff, J. Fernandez and O. Castillo on 16 March 1987. It was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. John Lundberg of the Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia. Funding for scanning was provided by a National Science Foundation grant (DEB-0089612) to Dr. Lundberg. Funding for image processing was provided by an NSF Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.

About this Specimen

This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 7 October 2004 along the coronal axis for a total of 735 slices. Each 1024x1024 pixel slice is 0.116 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.116 mm and a field of reconstruction of 55 mm.
