About the Species

This specimen was collected at a marina in Monterey County, California by L. Thomsen on 14 November 1973. It was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin. Funding for scanning and image processing was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Rowe.

About this Specimen

The specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 22 February 2006 along the horizontal axis for a total of 401 slices. Each 1024x1024 pixel slice is 0.25 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.22 mm and a field of reconstruction of 189.3 mm.
